We have 4 huge windows in the classroom so we have beautiful light. However we are on the top floor of the building so it gets very hot and humid in the classroom during the months of september and october, as well as may and june. This week my students came into my Spanish classroom dripping and asking for paper napkins to dry their faces and limbs from the humidity. Having a Spanish classroom that is cool is more conducive to creating a better learning environment. In addition, I think the students would enjoy and benefit from a bit of Salsa dancing instruction, during the last 5 minutes of class time, but with this heat and humidity, this is not a feasible option.
