My students are hard workers and hard learners. Sometimes, sitting in an uncomfortable desk all day can hinder their ability to stay focused. I want my students to feel comfortable to move around the room when learning. I believe providing different types of seating in the classroom with give the students an opportunity to choose their own seat for learning. If students are comfortable, they are more engaged in activities and class discussions. This also provides them the opportunity to be leadership in their own learning. This is why I am asking for ball seats for my students to use during class! Clip boards and lap boards will also provide a hard surface for my students to do their work on while in flexible seating. I hope this project will be fully funded so my students can continue to enjoy learning in style!
