I know that my students will benefit from incorporating yoga into our daily routine. This will give them some time to move their energetic bodies, as well as give them time to be peaceful and calm down. We have already begun trying poses, and have incorporated shared reading activities with children's books centered around the practice. My students have really shown an interest in the topic and have fun moving their bodies. The yoga mats that I have chosen for this project will greatly assist my students with boundaries and personal space during our practice. I am hopeful that incorporating yoga into our daily routine will also lead to more fruitful academic instruction throughout the day and will allow us to accomplish more learning goals!
