I would like to create a quiet learning lab for students in the Learning To Be Present program to listen to relaxation training on the computer app. My biggest challenge is not convincing them to learn new skills but finding a quiet, peaceful place for them to work. I have laptops and software for them to use to learn the skills but no good place to sit and learn. The two new chairs will replace one clunky old clinic "bed" and create a comfortable space for students to engage and learn some new stress management skills. Two soft recliners vs. one 20 year old stretcher! They will make a difference!
