Classroom basics are a must to ensure quality learning. More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households. I want them to be able to have a class in which they can have everything they need. They shouldn't need to spend any money to get the education they want and deserve. I recently came from Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria where I was a teacher for almost 10 years. A lot of the students I teach also came to Western Massachusetts recently, some also after the hurricane. Things like paper, crayons, pencils and other essentials are needed because the district does not have a lot of funds towards it. History class should be fun and being able to do different activities will serve that purpose. By having these materials for them in class it's one less thing students need to worry about.
