Our classroom needs a set of books for reading aloud to students. I've chosen some social stories like Clark the Shark (that kids can relate to emotionally and learn from) and some silly stories like I Will Not Eat You (so kids learn to love books) and some old Kindergarten favorites like Pete the Cat. Remember what it's like to be read to? Listening to the rhythm of spoken words, laughing at imaginary characters, and memorizing beautiful illustrations... My kids need this in a time of technology and busy lives. These books will give our little library a great start!
