Through this project, I will be able to better support my students love of sharing their opinions and their need to get up and move. Specifically, by obtaining more sticky notes and sticky easel pads, I will be able to do more activities that allow my students to move around my class through the use of gallery walks. Getting out of their seats and making discussions also helps them experience more of what talking and sharing their opinions looks like after high school. Education isn't about reciting facts and figures; it's about learning how to navigate and interact with the world around us. By allowing students to be competent sense makers in the classroom, we better prepare them to make sense of the world. Making sure my students have the supplies they need to make that happen is paramount.
