As a GT teacher, I am always on the look-out for new ways to keep my 6th grade students challenged, engaged, and excited about learning. Participating in the Stock Market Game (SMG) will help them build a fundamental understanding of investing while providing them with real world skill practice in math, English Language Arts, economics, social studies, and collaborative decision-making. The SMG website provides high-quality instructional resources for teachers that will enable me to provide my students the support they need. Resources on the SMG site include lessons, videos, advice, and further links geared toward enhancing students' financial literacy and investment success.
