At the PFEC we follow the guidelines of the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale 3rd Edition. Several times a month our ten classrooms visit the Family Learning Center. During this time we invite family members of our students to join us in engaging academic opportunities. These items will enhance the experience of our students and family members .The items we are asking for will also keep us in compliance with our grant from the state. The puppets will give the students an opportunity to express themselves and promote language development. The shape sorter will provide a foundation for early geometry skills. Giving the students an opportunity to explore mass and weight with the See Inside Balance Bucket will encourage scientific investigation. The emotion blocks will allow children to expand their social emotional learning experiences. All of these items will allow the students to explore and develop at a pace that is appropriate for children ages 3-5 years old.
