The students will be able to use the different seating options to create a flexible seating classroom that will allow them to learn. These flexible seating options will help them to focus on their work and help their brains to better absorb the information provided. The students in my class are filled with a large amount of energy. The standing desk will allow the students to stand in class while still having a surface they can write on. The stand up desks also allow them the opportunity to fidget and move their feet with a motion bar at the bottom of the desk. The other seating options (wobble seats, floor pillow, bean bag chairs) allow the student to choose which option would allow them to learn there best while in class. The flexibility bands for the desk and the floor pedals, allow the students movement in a stationary position. These options provide the students with the opportunity to move without being distracting, while learning.
