Drone mania has struck around the world with people flying high using a variety of multi-rotor devices we all know now as drones! I want my students to be able to capitalize on this and at the same time, teach them 21st century skills that they will use for a lifetime! By grabbing their attention with drone technology, students will also learn about the physics of flight, electronics, robotics, and programming. I chose mini-drones and quad-copters as they are are good starting point. They can also be flown in our gym at any time of the school year. Students will learn about safety, laws and regulations, flight basics, and the many uses of drones!
