Students will have the opportunity to take risks, learn to deal with frustration, and build positive sportsmanship in a safe, caring environment with old school games like cribbage, Phase 10 and Kings in a Corner. Having fun, all while creating strong peer relationships. By playing these games in small groups 8th grade students will be able to work with peers of all levels in a low-risk situation. For some this will be out of their comfort zone, but that will hopefully transfer over to their academic classes. Trying new things and not always having the answer the first time is okay!

About my class
