Students in my class don't just learn from me....they learn from each other. These supplies will enable my students to work collaboratively in groups. They will use the charts, paper, and pencils to show their work on a larger scale. That way the entire class can understand their process of solving problems, thus, making their thinking VISIBLE. Students will also use the dry erase markers to show and share their work on white boards we already have in class. Students love to show off their work. Now I'll be able to hang up their great ideas around the class to use as resources.
