My school is in the process of building a program in partnership with Education Through Music (ETM), a non-profit based in New York, NY. In order to build this program, the students of RBS are in need of more instruments. Instruments in the classroom will be used for both exploratory and theoretical learning. Students will be given many opportunities to play all instruments made available for them, including African drums, bucket drums, and a wide variety of hand percussion. With the access to these instruments, it is likely that a large percentage of students will become exited about continuing music education, both in elementary school, and future educational facilities.
