For some students, it is a LONG school day and let's face it... kids get antsy! Keeping students engaged is my top priority as a teacher. Many students are struggling throughout the day to keep focus and stay on task. Research has demonstrated that alternative seating helps to increase student engagement by providing movement. Having flexible seating options and fidgets help the students to sustain attention longer and focus on their work more diligently. Increasing student engagement allows the learners to better retain information and make progress in their academics. The stools and the variety of seating solutions will help students to regulate themselves to engage in the academic and social activities throughout the school day!
