Our classroom is made up of diverse students who come from low income households. We offer full day K to help push our students into the first grade Magnet program at an accelerated pace. We use different technology programs in the classroom like ST Math, Lexia, and Myon. This requires us to always try to keep up with materials that are few and far between at our campus. We want to ensure students are constantly challenging themselves with the appropriate reading levels and, because we have the students enter the information themselves, accelerates computer familiarization at an early age.
