These Chromebooks will be used daily by students to play games during center time. My plan is for students to work with a partner on each computer, so these would be used by 4 students every day. Having two Chromebooks in our classroom would allow each student to use them once a week and over the course of the year ample time to become comfortable with the touchpad mouse and navigating. My students will be allowed about 30 minutes of computer time to play educational games to learn the alphabet, initial sounds, numbers, and writing skills. I would like to offer my students every opportunity to be engaged with technology. The best way for students to become more comfortable with Chromebooks if for them to use them frequently.
