Inspiring kids to read and to understand our history can be difficult! Allowing kids to read around the room on fun and comfortable seats gets kids excited! Kids today don’t get enough wiggle time. Having seats that allow them to move while they learn is beneficial to everyone!!! History can be hard to understand for my fourth grade kids, but when they read Number the Stars, they get to understand it from a child’s eyes. I believe that getting kids to read novels about history and real world situations is extremely important. It allows them to relate the books to their own personal lives.

About my class
