This table will be for meeting with students in small group guided literacy lessons focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling patterns. Having a table that can allow students close access to the teacher is beneficial to their learning. Every child deserves a teacher that fosters their literacy progress and development. Learning to read is a life long skill. I meet with small groups of student throughout the day to meet their needs in all areas of literacy. My goal is to have students reading at grade level. To do this, I work to "close the gaps" where the students are struggling in their reading development. I love to be a part of their reading growth and progress.

About my class
