Students can concentrate better when they have options for flexible seating. At our school we have 84 minute blocks. Some students are sitting for over 5 hours a day! We know it is not healthy to be sedentary nor is it comfortable. With a Royal Seating 1600 Sit or Stand Desk with a Fidget Pedal, and a Switch Sit or Stand Desk with a Fidget Pedal and a Flash Mobile Sit-Down/Stand-Up Computer Desk students will have the option to work at a portable stand-up station when taking notes or completing assignments during class. These flexible seating options will help a variety of students in my classroom. Any one from students with ADHD, students with back problems, tall students, and energetic students in general will benefit as students will have the option to move to these seats when necessary. This could result in students being able to concentrate better, be more comfortable and there being less distractions to the class. Everyone benefits!
