My students learn best when their sensory needs are being met. Sometimes this means sitting in a comfortable chair, lying on the floor, or rocking in a rocking chair. My students will use the variety of seating options to learn in a comfortable way. Most of my students are just beginning to learn to read and love being read to; I want to continue to encourage them and increase their love for books by increasing their selection as well as providing a cozy area they are drawn to! Many of the books I currently have are too difficult for my students to read independently so I am asking for Easy Readers to encourage literacy in the classroom.
