Adding three Apple iPads to my library media center will allow more availability of technology and research opportunities for my students. They will be able to work independently on projects instead of groups if they would like. Technology plays a major role in today's media center, and my students love to use iPads to read and research. We use iPads to read e-books, watch animated books online, research, do scavenger hunts, and so much more. So far this year, students have used iPads to search our online library catalog, to read E-books on Epic, to perform online scavenger hunts using WorldBook Online, and to learn about digital citizenship. Adding more iPads would allow students to work on their own to do these activities instead of in groups.
