I am wanting to get flexible seating options in my classroom. We are starting our third week of school, and my students are already asking if they can move around the classroom or sit on the floor. "I can't focus when I sit here!" is something one of my students said on the second week of school. I find this to be true for majority of my class. When they are forced to sit at their desk for most of the day, they do not care about the lesson. My class begs me to do stations in order to move around the classroom and work with different groups of friends. When they have the ability to move around, they are able to focus and enjoy learning!
