My classroom consists of twenty-six amazing fourth graders! My students come into my classroom with a wide range of skills and interests. They are a very vocal and expressive class full of big personalities! In my class, I focus on meeting both the academic and social-emotional needs of my students. Not only do I want them to leave my class with a strong hold on the fourth grade standards, but also I aim to provide them with a high level of emotional intelligence. By building a strong classroom community, my students are encouraged to take risks and embrace diversity.
