Integrating technology is essential in the 21st century classroom. In order to keep my students well prepared for high school and beyond, I feel it is of the utmost importance to incorporate technology in the social studies curriculum. History is endlessly fascinating and dynamic, students' learning should be too! These Chromebooks will be used to enhance student learning in a variety of ways. For instance, students will be able to access primary and secondary sources from the internet, work collaboratively with others, and create individual projects using various websites and applications. Your donation to this project will help develop critical thinking, spatial awareness, and experience using the computer while enhancing student learning. In addition, the use of technology will allow students to work with media they wouldn’t otherwise have access to in the classroom.
