Have you ever wanted to express yourself, and yet couldn't find the right words to convey your message? Meaningful communication is such a vital part of life, and yet language development can be a challenging area for students with special needs. These vocabulary books and sets of picture cards will help my Deaf and hard of hearing students develop their vocabulary so that they can communicate effectively with their families, friends, and teachers. These visual supports are vital for my students with hearing loss comprehend new vocabulary and strengthen their language skills. Since I teach multiple grade levels at multiple schools, these portable materials will help a variety of students.
