The materials requested will engage the different types of learning styles. I have students who are very good readers while some struggle. I want each of them to feel confident they can read just as well as the next person. The books I chose are from a variety of reading levels. I want my students to choose a book they are comfortable with and enjoy every word. The Cam Jansen series are from the genre of mystery. The students tend to watch shows at home that create suspense. These books will apply real world situations and this is what I teach my children on a daily basis. I let them know almost anything they read, they can relate to it in real life some way. Also, the Junie B. Jones series creates entertainment. We all like to laugh every now and then. I wholeheartedly believe my students will enjoy reading these books. Many will increase their reading fluency and comprehension levels.
