My students are all special-needs first and second graders. Over half have some form of autism, and most are cognitively challenged. Nevertheless, these students can learn! One of my second graders can already read over 250 sight words! We are in a school with over 85% poverty-level students, so my kiddos get excited when I bring in any new learning tool - it's like Christmas morning!
