We have a unit in our curriculum that is called "Make it Move". This is a unit that we have very little items to have the children explore with. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard of a concept to work with but when you are talking about 4 and 5 year olds the challenge is real. The ball and ramp activity would be a great way to have the children experiment with how things move, making the ramps, and also building. This kind of an activity also is great for them to learn to work together and voice their ideas.
