I have guided reading groups to help my struggling readers learn sight words and high-frequency words to read. Most of my students are struggling readers who are missing the necessary skills to decode words. I want to provide them additional support to build on the skills taught during guided reading. I have rotations and so the library is one of them where students can practice those good reading skills. I want my students to leave Kindergarten as good readers! With your donation of books, my students can be exposed to a variety of reading materials and have the opportunity to check out books to take home to read.
