My students choose their own books for Reader's Workshop. With the book bins, each student will have a clean, sturdy place to keep their books for the week. The bins are big enough to store their books and their writing supplies. They are allowed to spread around the room to read and will use the clipboards when they record their thoughts about their daily reading. Practice makes perfect! Students use whiteboards for daily spelling and phonics practice. They love the whiteboards and will be thrilled to have real erasers instead of old socks. Whiteboards also help reduce our paper consumption. Save a tree!
