This year, my students will be learning about science concepts from the properties of matter, to biodiversity and cell structure, to how light and sound function. Our eighth grade science curriculum gives students a thorough, skill-oriented science experience. If my students are to be successful young scientists this year, they must have the resources they need to record, revise, and reflect upon their discoveries. The notebooks I have requested will be used by each and every one of my students to do just that. My students will be using them in every lesson to take notes, comment on their findings, record their ideas, and whatever else they need to fully understand and embrace our science curriculum.
