Learning reading skills can be overwhelming and frustrating, especially when they are presented in a different language. Abstract concepts such as cause and effect, context clues or inferences can be difficult for many students to grasp. Comprehension board games will allow students to visualize concrete examples of these concepts. With these magazines, my students will have more interesting and current topics with attractive images to help them understand what they are reading. I know this will make them more proficient and engaged readers, serving them well for the rest of their academic careers and sparking a passion for lifelong reading.

About my class
