During my literacy rotations, I like to be close to each of the readers and writers so I can give effective feedback. My current teacher table has us sitting far apart from each other, with some students right next to the teacher and others three feet away. This horseshoe shaped table will allow me to maintain student focus and give students immediate feedback on their reading, writing and math. This table will increase student engagement and allow for the best feedback possible. This table will be used throughout each school day, but will be especially helpful during reading and math group work.
