By having a brand new Laptop Computer in the class my students will be able to learn more Spanish. All of our current computers are desk computers. They take a lot of space in the room and the majority are out of order or so old that it is time consuming to simply turn them on. With this new computer, we will be able to get rid of these computers and use that space to create different kind of centers and stations. One of which will be the Technology Center which I plan to update every year with a different gadget. We will kick off with a new laptop which will allowe my students to have a good exposure to the language they are acquiring. They will be able to listen to songs, play vocabulary games, listen to audio books, and watch Spanish movies in their original version. If we want them to be bilingual and bicultural, this laptop will make a difference by making boundaries disappear and have other hispanic cultures closer. Thanks to the Internet we will be able to listen to a tale from Bolivia or a song from Argentina, a folk story from El Salvador and a rhyme from Peru.
