This 3D printer will help my students have a better understanding of atoms and molecules and how they relate. Right now we can talk about atoms and molecules, but obviously they are too small to see and touch. Students often have a difficult time grasping the concept of these very small, yet very important part of our lives. Having a 3D printer will allow my students to see and hold in their hands the building blocks of matter that make up everyday objects. Students will design and then print different atoms and molecules and then share them with the school so that other students can better understand and benefit from this equipment.
