My students are eager to explore science hands-on! I would like to give them the opportunity to learn each concept through a hands-on investigation. Most materials that are needed aren't available at our school. My students are mostly kinesthetic learners, so the best way to learn is through hands-on exploring and whole brain learning. Despite not always getting the chance do to hands-on learning, my students still work hard and appreciate what we do have. Safety goggles will be used for each hands-on investigation that we will be conducting. We also watch different instructional videos to review concepts that have been taught, so headphones are needed. All of my students receive free lunch, and I try to provide them with a snack throughout the day as well. In the next six weeks we will cover electricity. The light and sound touch circuit will be a wonderful tool for my students to learn this concept. Donating to this project will help my students have hands-on learning and experiences that makes science fun and interesting. I am hoping that interest will then turn into having our future leaders in Science, Technology, and Innovation!
