Flexible seating will allow my students opportunities to choose their own seat in our classroom where they feel most comfortable learning. During independent work times and center work, students will be able to use the materials in this project as additional seating options that will allow them choice. Children need to move throughout the day and flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand. The products that I am asking for in my project include wobble chairs and balance ball seats. The wobble chairs will allow students to wiggle and wobble while sitting, without tipping over. The balance balls will also allow movement that include balancing which will reduce restlessness and improve student focus.
