My students enjoy moving around the room to work. They prefer to sit elsewhere when working together or independently rather than sitting at the desk. A lot of the times students like to sit on the ground to work. This carpet will provide them with a clean comfortable space to tackle their assignments all while enjoying what they are doing. This carpet will also provide as a meeting point in the room to do peace circles throughout the year. I also lead a 6th grade girls advisory group where peace circles will be used for conflict resolution this school year.
