I teach children with learning disabilities and strive for them to have academic experiences that rival the norm. I teach third and fourth grade children in a self-contained academic setting and am the only teacher in this type of setting on my campus. While my students have difficulty learning in the standard manner, they can learn. By providing hands-on, realistic experiences my students become proficient in many areas.
