Cooperative learning is a key element in my classroom. I was fortunate enough to receive a grant to add flexible seating into my classroom. My classroom is amazing, however, one element that is missing is my ability to join a student group and work more closely with students. The purchase of a Hokki stool will allow me to travel around the room and sit with other students as they work. It will also allow students to work in larger groups by grabbing a stool to collaborate with others. The headphone purchase supports the concept of flexible seating as my classroom is very much a blended environment. Collaboration is key, but individual learning and exploration is also incorporated.
