Flexible seating is a new thing that many teachers all over are trying out. There are many teachers now that are using the different types of seating in their classrooms. Many of these teachers have seen a difference in how the students sit and pay attention. Flexible seating will give a variety of seating options for my students to stay focus while learning. Speaking with the teacher at my school who is using it, stated it can increase learning for students. By giving my students this chance, they are learning how to make choices that are right. Flexible seating can help with classroom behavior. Students that like to wiggle and get up will have wobble chairs or ball chairs to help them to move freely. Flexible seating can help maintain behavior in the class. Students will have ball chairs and pillows to choose from that will be comfortable. This will allow students to pick a spot that is best for their learning needs. Students will have their own space to work. I feel that this project will help keep my students engaged in learning all day long. I cannot wait to see what flexible seating can do for my students.
