My students are excited to read a new collection of books. With multiple copies, they will be able to engage in partnership reading as well as book clubs. Because of the funding of this project, my students will have diverse well-written books that will inspire thoughtful conversation. These conversations will help increase listening and speaking skills. I hope to parlay these skills into helping them improve their written work. Through a discussion of characters and situations, students can learn about the world around them. These titles and authors are well reviewed and have been requested by my students in the past. I know my current students will enjoy them as well.
