Students need access to a color printer in the computer lab setting. This tool will allow students the opportunity to showcase their work in color. The resources chosen for this project include a color printer along with ink cartridges. Concrete examples of how they will be used: Students will be able to create graphing charts in Excel, tables in Word, flyers in Publisher, and presentations in PowerPoint, helping them to be competitive for post-secondary pursuits. Student learning will be facilitated with the revision and editing process using the black and white printer, but will be able to print their final product in color. The completion of the portfolio at the end of the term will constitute a major grade for the course.
