By generously donating dissection kits to my Zoology class, you will be providing invaluable lab experience to my students. We will use these kits throughout our course to explore the wide variety of characteristics exhibited by organisms in the animal kingdom through in-class dissections. When completing a dissection, students are able to feel and touch and (sometimes to the student's dismay) smell what would otherwise be all diagrams and figures. Tangle learning solidifies knowledge in a student's mind, and no tangle learning method in science is more time-honored than dissections! By donating to the purchase of these kits, it would free up valuable but severely limited funds to widen the dissections we complete throughout this course as we work our way through the entire animal kingdom.
