The students that I teach are part of the Green Engineering Academy at our school. Students are accepted to this program based on their interest in engineering and their commitment to improving and maintaining their academic levels. Half of my students are considered "at risk" and through hands-on STEM teaching we hope to challenge and motivate these students, educate them with state of the art concepts and equipment, and prepare them for post-secondary careers and education related to green engineering and technology. Our program is a California Partnership Academy (CPA) using the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum.
