I am the founding Music Teacher at the high school where I teach, and this year, students will be able to take Music Technology, Advanced Music Theory, and Band. Each of these year-long courses features opportunities for students to create, perform, and respond to music. My students are excited to learn about music - connecting instruction to the music they know and love, as well as more unfamiliar styles. They perform, showcasing their musical knowledge and skills, in two concerts during the school year. As the thriving music department is currently expanding our course offerings for SY 2018-2019, we have additional equipment and supply needs. Thank you so much for your generosity in support of music instruction for my students!
