About my class

Flexible seating will help make a difference in student learning because they will be comfortable and feel as if they are at home. They will have the ability to sit comfortably as they read and work together. Imagine students sitting in cozy chairs and at comfortable tables while reading with their fellow classmates and discussing stories. I personally haven't implemented this type of seating before but a fellow coworker implemented it last year and the students really shined. Students automatically enjoy working when they have the ability to make decisions about the work. The kinder mats will be awesome for those students who like being on the floor. The bar height table is a great conversation setting and who doesn't love a bean bag chair? The wobbly cushions are great for those students who like sitting at a desk but have the wiggles! Last but not least saucer chairs are a wonderful place to curl up with a book.
