I want to provide my students with flexible seating options that will initiate choice, community, physical comfort, and a safe and pleasant environment. I have chosen a variety of seating options such as balance ball chairs, stools, and yoga balls to my project as I believe these options will be of high interest. It has been proven that a student's learning environment has a direct impact on student achievement and can improve their performance during the learning process. I have personally witnessed students change in commitment and in behavior due to making the classroom "ours," and I would love to be able to increase the seating options available in the classroom!
