My Special Education students are lacking in self-motivation and skills to complete work independently. Task boxes and file folder games are just the thing to help them learn while having fun! With file folders, boxes, and multi-sensory materials such as water beads, blocks, hole punches, and markers, my students will be able to independently complete tasks designed especially for their special needs. My students will be able to learn spelling, grammar and math using hands-on, multi-sensory tools in file folder games and task boxes designed just for them. They will also be learning crucial life-skills, such as categorizing, sequencing and emotional intelligence in fun, motivating tasks that will foster their independence. Using card stock, students will receive a task designed specifically for their individual needs which they will complete independently using the multi-sensory tools in each folder or box. The boxes and folders will be filled with engaging, fun tasks that will motivate my students to work hard because they are having so much fun learning.
